On June 11th, I denounced Obama’s “healthcare reform” as being, in actuality a form of “health insurance industry care”:

We’re not even talking about providing “health care” on Capital Hill, we are talking about providing “health insurance industry care”. And why not. We’ve already provided taxpayer-funded “banking industry care” to those poor, socially maladjusted, money-lusting speculators in the global derivatives casino.

I was not aware of the following at that time, as this has just come to light today:

The pledge by President Obama’s Office of Management and Budget Director is made in the concluding paragraph of a signed op-ed touting the Obama administration’s fascist health-care reforms as “A Medical Plan to Boost America’s Fiscal Health”

How can it possibly be more obvious that the focus in Obama’s “healthcare reform” is cutting costs as opposed to improving the quality of care, or saving lives, than to see it so boldly and clearly stated by Peter Orszag in the Financial Times.

I was also unaware (but not surprized) to learn of Obama’s further committment to his economic masters at the IMF:

In its June 10 report on its annual review of the U.S. economy, the International Monetary Fund reported that it had received similar assurances from Obama administration officials: “We welcome the Administration’s intention to work toward developing a political consensus on Social Security reform once health-care reforms are complete,” the IMF wrote.

This arm of the usurious monetarist system insisted the U.S. must be ready to further bailout Wall Street if necessary, but “substantial further measures will be needed to rein in soaring entitlement costs over the longer term.”

So here again, the path to Global Fascism under rule of financial Oligarchy is laid clear. The only entitlements are to the Empire. Serfs are only useful when they serve to enrich their Masters. When they become “useless eaters” they need to do their duty to decrease the surplus population and make way for younger, stronger slaves.

I know, it sounds dramatic and absurd, but it will take less than a generation to realize this state of affairs and when one looks back from that vantage point this will only serve as a sad reminder of the new dark age foretold in 2008.
