“I have no question we have the votes on the floor of the House to pass this (healthcare) legislation,” said Nancy Pelosi yesterday, in what may be the most ludicrous attempt at behavioral psychology ever uttered by a politician.
The one thing she has accomplished though is a refreshing level of “transparency” which has been promised by the Obama administration, but seldom delivered and sorely missed: It is completely transparent that this statement is a pathetic attempt to play the role of eternal cheerleader for a lost cause, backed by a bold faced lie.
But it won’t be the first time that a general “declared victory” on the battlefield even as his troops were being decimated in a crushing defeat. For when all else fails, politicians often resort to a form of denial or fantasy. If credible, it can be a powerful tool. If not, it can backfire.
No sentient being in America today could possibly perceive that what is going on with Health Care legislation is a smooth and ongoing process of consensus building and sensible accord, proceeding as planned to gain the support that would be endorsed by a majority vote.
Pelosi’s feeble attempt to conjur up a “perception that will shape its own reality” takes her a bit out of her depth. She should leave such lofty attempts at behavioral propagandizing to the real professionals at the Fed and in the Financial regulatory circles that cavort with the Money Changers.
For the Money Changers are truly the greatest of all illusionists, so practiced in their centuries old craft that they have convinced all humanity that little pieces of paper hold absolute power over nations, and their people.
As for Pelosi’s “votes” they are hidden behind a thicket of “green shoots”, neither of which truly exist.

My comment is not for this particular post. It’s the way I view not only this post but your entire site. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! Our tax dollars has already made these white collar criminals too wealthy already!
But why should they think any different? We’ve bailed out these people several times over the past century. They knew the taxpayers money would come to the rescue when they entered their ‘den of theives’.
